RAWR Spreadsheet

Post  PallyGully on Wed Jul 08, 2009 7:14 pm

Was talking about this in gchat today, some may not know about it. Thought i would show you guys a cool tool for helping decide on upgrades for your toons. It is basically a dps spreadsheet that you can load your toon in from the armory. It loads your spec and gear from the armory then plugs it into a spreadsheet and spits it out into a user friendly interface.

you can download it here

http://www.codeplex.com/Rawr

I found the best way to do it was to save the folder right onto my desktop. Open it through the folder, don't drag it and make a shortcut because it gives you errors if you do that.

Some screenies:

You can open it by selecting the little bear guy, you will then see a window with every class and spec in the game, click which one you want.

You can go to file, then load character from armory and voile!

This is what it looks like with your character loaded.

When you click on a piece of gear a drop down menu pops up and you can choose a different piece of gear. In the middle where it says dps, you can see if it is an increase of decrease in dps.

You can also select different enchants on gear

And that's about it, jsut wanted to show you in case you hadn't seen it. It is very helpful for finding upgrades and maximizing dps!!

Thanks. I'll be playing around with this a bit.

I think you can use it for tanking and healing too, but i only know how to use it for dps.

It does look similar to a tool I've used that could evaluate effective health (tanking stat). Might be an option there.
