New Loot Council Guidelines

Post  Malucious on Tue Nov 18, 2008 8:10 pm

New Loot Council Guidelines

Loot Council Will Reserve The Right to prioritize loot over these guidelines.

Loot Priority:

-Raider > initiate > member > alt

- Main spec > off spec

-Alt Main spec over Raid off spec

-Alt Main spec > member Main spec (provided we request the alt to attend the raid for class balance.)
loot council will reserve the right to prioritize loot in these unique situations

-Main spec will always be rewarded over off spec.

Loot distribution:

-All current Raiders will start off with loot # of zero.

-Loot received will deduct 1 points from players loot #.

-Tier Loot received will deduct 2 points from players loot #.

-The Raider with the highest # will automatically receive the loot.

-In the event two Raiders have the same # the items will be rolled for.
although it may be at loot councils discretion to give the item to a specific Raider based on consistently of raider to ensure the loot gets the most use possible. Chances are in this situation loot would be rewarded to the Raider with the highest attendance in mind.

-Forced upgrades: If an item drops that is a significant upgrade it will be at the Raid Leaders discretion to force you to take the upgrade and you will be charged double points. (This will help to keep all Raiders at the best gear level possible as well elevate players from hording points to obtain loot at a later date.)

-"Loot Council reserves the right to limit loot received by a single player on a specific run"
(meaning in certain situations a raider may not receive loot over another raider of said class if they have already received loot off a previous boss in the same instance.)

-When promoted to "raider" status you will be given the average number of drops, calculated by people of your class.
IE: Raider "A" has received 5 drops, Raider "B" has received 6 drops and "C" has received 2 drops.
6+5+2 = 13 divided By 3 = 4. Therefore you would be granted the set value of 4.
You would not be given the same value as the highest person, being you helped in getting loot for the said person.

-When demoted and promoted to back to raider your loot will be reset to 0 and if your are promoted back to raider statues you will be given the value of the highest person of your class.
You will receive the highest value because you aren't making
attendance and not helping the guild get loot.

Loot exemptions:

-Raid readiness. Not being ready to raid (full raid buffs) = not ready to receive loot.
You will be sent a warring in a tell telling stating why you will be exempt form loot either by the Raid Leader or officer.

-Anyone linking loot that is not enchanted or Gemmed will be not be considered for said drop. If you do not take pride in your gear then do not expect loot council to take your request for new loot seriously.

Misc Loot

-Trash drops will not count towards loot received. They will be handed out to raiders first with highest attendance in mind.

-Patterns will not count towards loot received.
A) BOE patterns will be handed out to guild crafters first, once our guild crafter has the pattern any duplicte pattern dropped after will be rolled on by raiders of said profession.
B) BOP patters will be handed out to the raider more apt to equip and use the crafted item.

-Off spec gear will not be counted, but given to raiders that:
A) Are likely to re spec
B) Already have an off set
C) That do not hold a critical role IE. Main tank, Healer these will be the last people we will have respec.

Rewards

- raiders who maintain 100% attendance during the weekly review will have 1 point added to their loot #. This will be done to help maintain 100% attendance. This is active raiding only, posting on the forums/leaving raid early (unless emergency) will disqualify you or this bonus. Reasoning behind this is, that these are the people that are helping to gear the guild, night in and night out.

-You may opt to receive credit for a missed raid by posting on the AFK forums and donating 250 gold to the guild bank prior to missed raid. (This donation is not to exceed more than 1 donation per week and/or 4 per month at the raid leaders and/or officers discretion) In order to qualify for this credit you will be required to send the 250 gold donation by in game mail to gobank prior to missed raid so it will be properly recorded. You must also post on the AFK forms that you will not be attending said raid PRIOR to anticipated missed date.

-If you opt to do this you will also receive the bonus point for 100% raid attendance and the missed raid will not be counted towards attendance.
-All raiders who make 100% raid attendance for 30 days straight will be rewarded with a FREE day off with out penalty.

Penalties

Penalties points may be deducted from a players loot # for any of the the following infractions:

-.25 arriving late/leaving early (with out prior notice)

-.25 Not being in the zone and ready at start of raid. (IE: needing a summons into zone)

-.50 not prepared(not having raid buffs reagents etc...) This may also include but is not limited to not getting buffs out in a timely matter.

-.50 AFK with out consent from a officer or Raid leader

-1.00 Arguing with raid leader/Officer blatant disrespect towards any player. Bringing any type of dispute into a raid.

-1.00 being asked to step out of raid for any of the above reasons.

If you leave a raid with out permission from an officer or raid leader due to any of the above reasons you will be removed from the guild and not welcome back, there is no exceptions to this!

Who are the raid leaders going to be and is this going to work for 10 mans as well as 25 or is this going to be just for the 25 mans?

Our Raid Leader are Rellion and Kaeji, and at this time it will be for both 10 and 25 mans since going in everything is going to be an upgrade for people. We will have a Raid Leader and Officer on every 10 man team and regardless of the team your on the loot will be recorded so it will even out.

Any difference between 25 man and 10 man loot drops? And what about legendary items....? (just curious... we don't know if there are any)

25 man and 10 mans will be the same system. There will be an officer on each 10 man team to keep track of attendance and drops....as far as legendary items they will be determined by Loot Council based on several factors.
IE: If we have 2 10 man teams both teams will have loot recorded for the night and it will cont towards any further raid you attend, weather it be 10 or 25 man.
One thing we will not tolerate is people holding out on loot. If its an up grade YOU must take it, if you pass on it it will be to the raid leaders discretion if they want to force you to take the up grade and you will be charged double points. Also it is imperative that people are gearing up outside of raid, the raiders with the best gear will get priority over raid spots.
